Tanger / Bowles

An artist's journal by Guillaume Fresneau inspired by Tangier, composed of screenprints, found papers, and collaged elements collected during a journey through the Moroccan city.
Drawing from personal observations, fragments gathered on site, and the writings of Paul Bowles in The Sheltering Sky, the work unfolds as a visual exploration of place, memory, and travel. Layers of printed imagery, cut-paper compositions, and found materials create a fragmented cartography of Tangier, situated somewhere between documentation and imagination.
