Enez Eusa / Ouessant

The horizon as distance, separation, and passage. The space between island and mainland becomes a boundary to be crossed, a threshold between departure and arrival.

This work draws on the experience of the crossing itself: the shifting line of the horizon, the sea surrounding the island, and the unstable perspective of a landscape viewed from the deck of a moving boat. Through layered images and fragmented forms, it explores notions of transition, orientation, and the ever-changing relationship between land and water.

Media: Screenprint, spray paint, collage, and paper cut-outs.
